Vidmoji
Overview
Vidmoji is a real-time computer vision project that detects hand gestures through a webcam and overlays corresponding emojis on the video feed. Built with MediaPipe, OpenCV, and Pillow, it recognises five gestures per hand — from a closed fist to an 'I love you' sign — and maps them instantly to emoji. Designed for casual online video meetings where expressive, button-free interaction matters.
